Decisions, decisions at the Ojai wine festival. I have no idea what I'm pointing at. Maybe telling the paparazzi enough is enough?

At Cass's vineyard in Paso Robles, our 2009 Mourvedre supplier.
I apply a special massage to the grapes to get them just right

A closeup of our Paso Viognier. To me, Viognier is one of the best tasting wine grapes, redolent of creme brulee and lychee. Mmmmm. ironically they look pretty unattractive, with a sort of mottled discoloraion when ripe.

My wine is this big. With Roger Mohme at his Grenache vineyard in Paso. For the record I don't always wear red shirts in vineyards.

A nice view of Roger's vineyard, which has a downward west-east slope. We also got a small amount of Cab Franc from him, which is tasting brilliant early on.

A sneak peek at some 2009 blending trials , featuring 2 of the top wine critics in the world, disguised of course. Have you guys been spitting?
